Khuliso Sigama completed his LLB degree with the University of Venda in 2010 and was later admitted as an Attorney by the North Gauteng High Court. Corporate Law Certficate from UNISA, other certificates FIDIC,NEC,JBCC&GCC from BCA Training, A Hill International Company.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Post admission he was appointed by Small Enterprise Finance Agency (SEFA) as a Senior Legal Advisor. In the year 2016 he resigned from SEFA and registered his own Law firm practicing under the name Sigama Attorneys Inc. In the year 2017 he participated as a legal advisor for the minority Shareholders of VBS Mutual Bank to advice on the curatorship involvement, dissolution and the interest of the Shareholders.

In the year 2019 he was recruited by the National Empowerment Fund (NEF) as a Legal Transactional Advisor whereof his role was to conduct Legal Due Diligence and deal structuring, during the later part of the year He was also appointed as an External Adjudicator at the Consumer Goods and Services Ombuds (CGSO).

Furthermore in the year 2022 he was appointed by Musina Makhado SEZ (MMSEZ) and Community Schemes Ombud Service (CSOS) and his role include advisory services to the Board and Management on Corporate Governance and Secretariat services.

LEADERSHIP & PUBLIC ENGAGEMENTS

His primary responsibilities are to provide leadership and mentorship, establish and grow client relationships, and drive the firm’s strategic direction. He has been on many public engagements on PhalaPhala FM – on topic about National Credit Act and National Credit Regulator advising the community of the impact of the NCA as amended, and the importance of a credit and what should happened and what they’re expected to do as an ordinary individual, – World intellectual property day; advisory interview on intellectual property rights. On Capricon FM – VBS Mutual Bank topic advising on the current financial status of Vbs Bank and on liquidity and the role of the curator as appointed by the Register of Banks.
